As a couples therapist I am dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of their relationships. With a compassionate and non-judgmental approach, I am committed to creating a safe space for open dialogue, self-reflection, and growth.

Conflict is an inherent part of any relationship, but it doesn't have to define it. I specialise in assisting couples in resolving conflicts and finding constructive ways to communicate and connect. By fostering effective communication skills, I aim to empower couples to express their needs, desires, and concerns in a respectful and understanding manner. Together, we will explore the underlying dynamics that contribute to conflicts and work towards finding practical solutions and compromise.

Seeking a new perspective is often a crucial step towards revitalisng a relationship. As a couples therapist, I facilitate a process of self-exploration and encourage couples to view their relationship from different angles. By challenging ingrained patterns and beliefs, we can open up new possibilities for growth and change. I provide guidance in examining individual values, goals, and expectations, helping couples align their aspirations and create a shared vision for the future.

Emotions are integral to our experiences in relationships, and understanding and navigating them can deepen our connection with ourselves and our partners. I place great importance on exploring and validating emotions within the therapeutic process. By creating a safe environment, I help couples delve into their emotional landscapes, uncovering the underlying causes of their reactions and behaviors. Developing emotional intelligence can foster empathy, compassion, and resilience, leading to healthier and more fulfilling relationships.

Attachment: Relationships are deeply influenced by attachment styles developed in early life. As a couple’s therapist, I help individuals and couples explore their attachment patterns, identifying how they impact their current dynamics. By gaining insight into attachment styles, we can work together to foster secure connections, heal past wounds, and create a foundation of trust and intimacy.

Vulnerability: Building a strong and intimate bond requires vulnerability. Many individuals struggle with opening up and expressing their true selves in relationships. Through a supportive and non-judgmental approach, I encourage individuals and couples to embrace vulnerability as a catalyst for growth and connection. Together, we navigate the fears and barriers that may hinder vulnerability, helping you create authentic and meaningful relationships.

Emotional Regulation: Emotional regulation is essential for maintaining healthy relationships. I assist individuals and couples in understanding and managing their emotions, particularly during moments of conflict or stress. By exploring effective coping strategies and communication techniques, we cultivate emotional intelligence and develop skills to express feelings constructively, fostering harmony and understanding within your relationship.

My sessions are holistic, creative and personalised to the unique needs of your relationship My goal is to create a safe space where you can openly explore your concerns, conflicts, and aspirations. Drawing from evidence-based therapies such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) attachment theory and gestalt amongst others I facilitate transformative conversations that promote healing, growth, and lasting change.
